Contribute Editorial

All editorial contributions will be considered for publication subject to the following:

• It is original writing and free of any copyright restrictions.
  
• Site reports and photographs must have been obtained legally and approved by the main contractors or by someone with appropriate rights to authorize publication.
  
• Reports and photographs must not promote or illustrate unsafe working practices.
  
• Contributors accept full liability for any actions resulting from publication of unedited articles accredited to their name.
  
• Site reports should be a minimum of 1,000 words and no longer than 2,500 words. Preference will be given to unpublished/exclusive articles.
  
• Articles should be submitted as Word documents or in plain text. Submissions will not be accepted in PDF format.
  
• Site reports may focus on specific sections of a construction site but should treat all brand names equally and without bias.
  
• Photographs must be high-resolution (minimum 300 DPI) JPG images of not less than 4 Mb file size. They should saved without any JPG compression. Photographs in other format will not be accepted.
  
• Video must not be high-definition and be suitable for scaling down for use in flash format.
  
• Contractors World reserve the rights to use submitted material in any of their publications and for promotional purposes.
  
• Page layouts remain at al times, the copyright of the publishers.
  
• All editorial submitted will be subject to editorial scrutiny and the decision of the editor is final. The editor retains the right to edit as appropriate for the magazine content and style.
  
• All editorial submissions are free for the editors to use as considered appropriate. The publishers will consider commissioning specific site reports and other editorial but will always be agreed in writing prior to any work being commenced.
